Nic is putting the finishing touches on the sound design of a set of DVD’s of stories and poems read by the late Margaret Mahy. Productionshed.tv, who have produced and market the DVD’s hope to distribute these charming tales to younger children around the world. “The material does rely quite heavily on cartoonish sound design that isnt necessarily supported by pictures – like an radio play – which was challenging and fun to make”. As of 31st July the film studio has closed to the public in preparation for major structural work. We forsee this closure lasting some six months at least. Our regrets and apologies to those who this effects. If any one wishes to assist and help the studio in any way to complete this enormous undertaking we would love to hear from you.
