Ramati coast band The Volunteers recorded at the studio late last year and took a few months to chisel away at their debut album. Produced and recorded by Nic, the material transitions from kitsch lolly-pop greaser car theft anthemic to dark post junk melancolie. Warning, there are contagious riffs here that you’ll be whistling as you drive. An album that was worth the wait.
