In a first for the studio, the feature film ‘Hook, Line & Sinker’ was mixed in-house to 5.1 surround and LTRT stereo.
Nic McGowan and Joel Anscomb-Smith set up the main studio as a mixing theater, using the lushous newly acquired Genelec 1037b monitors.
We are pleased with the results and grateful to Shane and Andrea of TORCHLIGHT FILMS for having the faith in the studio to let us undertake an untested production process with their lovely film. HLS screened in over fifty theaters around NZ in May & June 2011.
